Initially called Modulo Showhome, this was our very first project delivered by Modulo. Many nice stories and hard work around the design process along Hofmans Architects Ltd during Lockdown times. The building process was longer than originally expected as the product was put to the test in many different aspects. It was a lovely journey that ended up delivering a high end 2 bedroom house full of emotions and great reviews. It’s now facing the Remarkables at the top of a hill of an Arrowtown farm.
The exterior featured Abodo Vulcan cladding, rainscreens and fascias coated with Sioo:x Timber windows from Eurotech Windoors and shutters through out the building make make of this building a stylish and energy efficient one.
Interiors are lined with Birch elite plywood from Plytech - Best birch plywood available in New Zealand.
Custom joinery including Kitchen, throughout cabinetry and internal doors are made of the same plywood to match the interior linings. Kitchen Island from IMO high end steel furniture made in New Zealand. Fireplace is a white ULEB Pyroclassic mini.
Flooring is Southland beech from Lindsay & Dixon - Natural and locally sourced.
